Purpose
The Business Automation Specialist – Robotic Process Automation (RPA), as part of the bank’s Operational Effectiveness & Organization business area, will be working closely with various Business and Technology Units to monitor the daily operation of the Bank’s RPA solutions and coordinate the resolution of any issues / errors that might arise. What is more, he/she will be responsible for identifying candidate processes for automation via RPA technologies and preparing the necessary Process Design Document as well as the associated Business Case .
What you will be doing
(A) Robotic Process Automation (RPA) Analyst
• Explain the capabilities of Robotic Process Automation technology to various business areas of the Bank and work closely with them to analyze their processes and identify candidates for automation
• Creation of “as-is” and “to-be” process documentation
• Preparation of automation business case (incl quantification of FTE benefits and implementation costs)
• Oversight of RPA implementation projects
• Collection, documentation and prioritization of Change Requests on the existing Robots of the Bank as business needs evolve
(B) Robotic Process Automation (RPA) Controller
• Monitor the daily operation of the Bank’s RPA solutions
• Coordinate with business users and IT the resolution of errors/issues
• Identification and documentation of Change Requests on the existing Robots of the Bank, with the objective to further reduce the business and technical exceptions they generate
What you need to have
• A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Natural Sciences, Business Administration or any related discipline
• One (1) to three (3) years of related work experience
• Very good knowledge of one or more of the following technologies (and interest in learning the remaining ones on the job)
o Blue Prism (or equivalent RPA tools)
o Mail Merge (and other MS Office automation capabilities)
o VBA / Excel Macros
• Related certifications will be considered a plus
• Experience in the banking / financial services industry or in a big consulting firm will be considered a plus
• Excellent command of the English language (both written and spoken).
• Solid analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Very good stakeholder management and presentation/communication skills
• Continuous improvement / lifelong learning mindset
