Purpose

 

As a Business Portfolio Manager, you will be joining in Project Governance and Delivery Business Area for the Portfolio Management and Execution Governance Framework function. You should be self-motivated and highly skilled Projects/ Programmes Portfolio Manager able to communicate effectively and to perform in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple stakeholders. 

What you will be doing


•  Monitor progress of Programs/Projects. Identify risks, detect and raise potential issues to proactively avoid conflicts or budget overruns
•  Gather and prioritize Business demand for projects.
•  Facilitate communication and work closely with project teams, IT, Business, Finance, Budgeting or other stakeholders to ensure transparency and alignment. 
•  Consolidate information to provide fully transparent regular updates/ ad hoc reports to Committees, senior management and other stakeholders covering timelines, budget, benefits. Track expenses from initial demand submission to invoicing.
•  Participate in Project/Portfolio monitoring tools’ development ensuring Execution Governance.
•  Facilitate the Development and implementation of standardized project management methodologies and processes.


What you need to have


•  A Bachelor’s degree and/or Master’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Science, or any other related discipline.
•  Two (2) to five (5) years of relevant work experience in the banking/ financial services sectors or in a big consulting firm in similar roles related to Projects/ Programs Portfolio Management.
•  PMP/PRINCE2 or other related certification will be considered a plus.
•  Excellent computer skills, proficient user of MS Office (Excel, Access, PowerPoint). 
•  Excellent stakeholder management and presentation/ communication skills.
•  Strong analytical, problem-solving skills.
