Purpose
As a Credit Intelligence Specialist you will join the Credit Control Business area and you will be responsible for the business administration of the Bank’s Credit Assessment platforms, ensuring correct and efficient implementation of Credit risk models, measurement and assessment methods, systems’ end-user experience and ease of use and continuous operational support and training.
You should possess critical thinking and complex problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Additionally, you should be self-motivated and able to perform in a fast-paced environment delivering high-quality results within tight deadlines.
What you will be doing
- Collaborate with IT specialists to design the Bank’s Credit Assessment platforms and ensure effective data management for operational purposes.
- Work with different business areas to specify the integration of credit risk models and assessment methods, ensuring correct operation and alignment with the Bank's goals.
- Perform analytics tasks using tools such as SAS, and Qlik. This may involve data analysis, model development, and data visualization.
- Monitor system usage and health by utilizing key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure data completeness and integrity for systems under your responsibility.
- Participate in the planning and processing of dataset exports on a scheduled or ad hoc basis to support business functions, including supervisory, audit, and operational needs.
- Control systems and processes that are developed or configured by various business areas within the Bank.
- Participate in the business design of datasets in both standardized and ad hoc analytical forms, which are used to develop and validate credit risk models, measurement, and assessment methods.
- Plan and execute User Acceptance Tests (UATs) with a focus on data quality and functionality.
- Generate relevant reports for various stakeholders, including the Bank's committees, business areas, and Group companies.
What you need to have
- A Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Informatics, Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Finance or in any other related field of study.
- A Master’s degree in Risk analytics and Modelling, Engineering, Mathematics, Operational Research, Information Science is preferred.
- At least three (3) years of work experience in a relevant role in Business, Finance, Banking Credit Risk Management or related area.
- Critical thinking and attention to detail.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines, prioritize and handle multiple assignments.
- Familiar with analytical tools such as SAS, SPSS etc.
- Experience with visualization tools (e.g., Qlik, Power BI)
- Proficiency in the use of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Excellent command of the English language (both written and spoken).
