Purpose

 

As the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) Senior Specialist, you will be part of Alpha Bank’s ESG and ERM Management team and you will be responsible for effectively identifying, managing, and controlling Business and Strategic risks and their cross-functional impacts Bank-wide and at the Group level.

 

What you will be doing

 

  • Provide guidance and assist in conducting risk assessments within specific areas of the organization's operations, focusing on Business and Strategic Risks.
  • Identify and analyze risks that could impact the Bank and Group against the Risk Appetite Indicators (RAF) and the Business Plan.
  • Execute on the design of specific indices and targets for the RAF, while contributing to their alignment with strategic risk management goals.
  • Participate in the preparation / evaluation of the Recovery Plan and other processes, such as ICAAP and RCS.
  • Monitor projects related to Chief Risk Control Officer (CRCO) functions.
  • Prepare qualitative and quantitative analysis to provide feedback in strategic projects.
  • Provide risk opinion on potential investments/ divestments considering the provided material and potential breaches of respective KRIs thresholds.
  • Act as a key contributor to the risk culture initiatives run by the organization.

 

 

What you need to have

 

  • A Bachelor’s degree in in Risk, Accounting, Business, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics or in any other related field of study.
  • A Master’s degree in in any of the abovementioned fields of study is desirable.
  • At least seven (7) years of professional experience, with at least three (3) years of related risk management work experience, preferably in Banking, audit / consulting.
  • Complex problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Solid communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Distinct decision-making skills.
  • Proficiency in the use of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent command of the English language (both written and spoken).
