Purpose

 

As a Group Business Solutions Senior Specialist you will be responsible to support the product development and commercialization processes through business and financial analysis.​

 

The ideal candidate should have a broad range of experiences spanning business analysis, business case development, market analysis with a strong focus on financial services sector. Ideally the candidate should have gained this experience either in consulting or in the financial services industry.

What you will be doing

 

•    Drive key product design and development decisions by synthesizing deep market insights, competitive intelligence, and financial modeling, ensuring a robust fact base for strategic decision-making.
•    Engage with senior stakeholders across business units to identify strategic enablers, potential synergies, and key factors influencing product direction, ensuring alignment with broader business objectives.
•    Draft product specification documents in a clear, accurate and professional manner providing all information needed.
•    Support the Business Solution Owners in the development of the product/service business case
•    Scan the market for competitive products, prepares comparison charts of key features and supports in the preparation of market research studies
•    Analyze legal, regulatory, operational risk and DPO restrictions and prepare possible workarounds
•    Create and maintain the infrastructure to monitor the performance of the products, capturing key performance indicators and analyzing their evolution, assisting the Product Lead in identifying corrective actions.


What you need to have 

 

•    A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or Finance (Master’s degree in Finance, Business or related fields (preferred).
•    An MBA or a postgraduate degree in Finance or in any other related discipline will be considered an asset.
•    At least seven (7) years of working experience in financial services or four (4) years in management consulting in similar roles.
•    Strong communication and collaboration skills.
•    Solid analytical thinking and creative problem-solving skills.
•    Attention to detail.
•    Proficient use of the MS Office suite (especially Excel and PowerPoint).
•    Excellent command of the English language (both written and spoken).
