Purpose

 

As a Health, Safety & Wellbeing (HSW) Associate, you support the implementation of the Bank’s Health, Safety and Wellbeing initiatives. You contribute to the maintenance of the Health and Safety Management System, assist in monitoring performance metrics, and collaborate with stakeholders to promote a culture of health, safety, and wellbeing across the organization.

 

What you will be doing

 

  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of the Health and Safety Management System (ISO45001)
  • Assist in data collection, monitoring, and reporting of Health, Safety and Wellbeing KPIs and other relevant metrics
  • Support communication and collaboration with business units in cross-functional projects and initiatives
  • Assist in vendor and third-party coordination to ensure effective services implementation
  • Assist in the coordination of occupational doctors and safety engineers to ensure employee health and safety
  • Help manage the implementation of written instructions and observations from occupational doctors and safety engineers
  • Participate in on-site inspections and assist in implementing measures and controls to prevent accidents and incidents
  • Assist in the coordination of accident investigations, ensuring proper documentation and reporting
  • Support promotion plans, awareness sessions, and trainings to enhance a culture of health, safety, and wellbeing among employees and management
  • Provide support to ESG reporting, Business Continuity Planning, and other initiatives related to Health, Safety and Wellbeing targets
  • Facilitate the preparation and follow-up of regular Health, Safety and Wellbeing committee meetings

 

 

What you need to have

 

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, Human Resources, or another related field
  • A Master’s degree in a related discipline (preferred)
  • A minimum of one (1) year of experience in Health and Safety, Wellbeing, or related fields within corporate or industrial environments
  • Strong organizational, reporting, and data analysis skills
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work across functions and with external partners
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills with the ability to support multiple initiatives
