Purpose
Alpha Bank is currently looking for a recent graduate to join the Investor Relations team in an entry level capacity on a fixed term contract. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to start a career in Finance, Banking or Investor Relations.
As an Investor Relations Associate, you will support the team in strengthening the Bank’s communication with investors, analysts, and the broader financial community. Key responsibilities will include monitoring international financial markets using platforms like Reuters, analyzing financial and market data in Excel, and contributing towards the improvement of the Bank’s positioning relative to local and international peers.
Through this role, you will gain valuable exposure to the Greek banking sector and global capital markets, while offering insight into how listed companies engage with market participants.
The ideal candidate is a self-motivated individual with strong analytical and communication skills and a genuine interest in financial markets, banking, and quantitative analysis. The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment is also essential.
What you will be doing
- Participate in the monitoring and analysis of market and industry trends across a wide peer group.
- Support the Investor Relations team in engaging with both local and international investors, analysts, and other market stakeholders.
- Assist in the preparation of presentations, reports, and other communication materials for internal use or external distribution.
- Build and maintain financial models to support sector and market analysis.
What you need to have
- A Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field of study, such as Finance, Financial Engineering, Mathematics, Business, Accounting or any other related discipline.
- Advanced use of the MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Excellent command of the English language (both written and spoken).
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to multi-task and perform well under pressure.
- A proactive attitude and a continuous improvement / lifelong learning mindset.
