Purpose

 

The Outsourcing and Third-Party Governance Specialist will be responsible for monitoring and controlling the outsourcing activities of the Bank and ensuring their compliance with regulations and alignment with the Bank’s standards.

What you will be doing

 

•    Lead the design and implementation of data analysis systems to monitor key outsourcing activities of the Bank and Group Companies.
•    Collaborate and communicate with the relevant Units of the Bank involved in the outsourcing process.
•    Coordinate the processes for categorizing purchase/supply requests from the Bank’s respective Units to determine whether they are categorized as ‘outsourcing’.
•    Participate in the due diligence process of the Bank’s suppliers and collect the necessary certificates and legal documents as required.
•    Support the implementation of the Group's External Assignment Policy and participate in the assessment of suppliers, as defined by the guidelines European Banking Authority (EBA) guidelines.
•    Participate in the gathering and analysis of data related to outsourced assignments and participate in the preparation of relevant reports to inform the Group’s stakeholders. 
•    Collect data in order to measure the performance of Outsourcing Suppliers (External Outsourcing).
•    Contribute to the planning and execution sessions of the Outsourcing Committee as well as all required reports to other committees including ORICCo and Board of Directors Committees as required by the Outsourcing Policy and Procedures in force. 
•    Facilitate communication with national and supranational organizations, directly or via relevant platforms (e.g. IMAS), for outsourcing matters.

 

What you need to have

 

•    Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Statistics, or related fields 
•    Master’s degree in a related field (preferred)
•    5+ years of working experience in a procurement role, preferably in the financial services industry related to Outsourcing
•    Extensive knowledge on EBA guidelines, BoG Act 178/5/2.10.2020, L. 2577/2006
•    Keen understanding of Regulatory and Statutory requirements
•    Excellent communication skills
•    Excellent command of the English and the Greek language (both written and spoken)
•    Proficient use of the MS Office suite (especially Excel, PowerPoint) and of MS Project.
