Purpose

 

As a PMO Manager you will be joining  the Project Governance and Delivery Business Area and you will be responsible for leading a team of Senior Project Managers and Project Managers and managing the Bank’s book of business projects in order to ensure that the projects are delivered on time, within budget and with the expected level of quality following best practices and international standards. 

What you will be doing


•  Manage the operation of the Project Management Office and oversees a team of 10-12 Senior Project Managers / Project Managers/ Project Manager Associates, while also providing coaching and support on methodologies and shares best practices.
•  Lead complex projects and interacts with the multiple stakeholders as well as internal and external teams.
•  Lead the design and updates of the framework within which projects are created, managed and completed and ensures its implementation.
•  Ensure that the scope of each project, its governance framework,  key assumptions, milestone dates, synergies as well as any possible constraints are handled efficiently.
•  Oversee the planning, execution, cost management, schedule, and scope for all projects in the team’s portfolio.
•  Manage resource utilization across programs/ projects.
•  Ensure the smooth process and project change delivery and maximum benefits realization and manages complex risks and issues.
•  Collaborate with senior business stakeholders to facilitate  projects prioritization alignment with the goals of the Bank.
•  Cultivate a high-performance team, by inspiring their team while fostering a culture of empowerment, accountability, and inclusion.


What you need to have


•  A Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Engineering or relevant fields
•  A Master’s degree in Business Administration
•  A minimum of seven (7) years of  managerial experience in high-visibility projects (experience in environments with strong project governance is considered an asset).
•  Excellent communication skills.
•  Excellent command of the English and the Greek language (both written and spoken).
•  Strong leadership skills and experience in leading teams.
•  Strong problem-solving and decision making skills.
•  Ability to articulate ‘the big picture’ and cut through complexity.
