Purpose
The Process Transformation Specialist (Wealth Management & Custody Focus), as part of the bank’s Operational Effectiveness & Organization business area, will be working closely with various business & technology units in the context of projects related that aim to redesign processes and operating models related to the wealth management services as well as the custody services offered by the bank, with the objective to make more efficient, omni-channel and cross-location, thus improving the experience of our customers. The responsibilities include the analysis and documentation of the existing business processes, the design of appropriate target operating models and efficient to-be processes (together with associated process monitoring metrics - KPIs and SLAs) and the coordination of their operationalization.
What you will be doing
• Conduct comprehensive assessments of current operating models, processes, and workflows using business process management techniques.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand business objectives, challenges, and opportunities for transformation.
• Identify opportunities for improvement in terms of efficiency, productivity and quality and facilitate ideation workshops with multiple stakeholders (business, legal, compliance, risk, information technology etc.) to define the fit-for-purpose target operating model.
• Design the to-be processes, along with appropriate SLAs and KPIs, in close collaboration with the respective business teams.
• Generation of business requirement documents (including low fidelity screen mockups) for key process improvement projects
• Design and execute change management plans to ensure successful operationalization of operating model and process transformation initiatives, with a focus on minimizing disruption to business operations.
• Contribute towards a continuous process improvement culture, by staying abreast of industry trends, regulatory requirements, and emerging technologies related to banking operations, while providing targeted education and coaching on process measuring and improvement methodologies
What you need to have
• A Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Technology, Engineering or any other related discipline
• At least three (3) years of related work experience (ideally in a consulting firm or as part of a financial institution’s internal process / business analysis team)
• Experience in projects related to client data handling as well as familiarity with the respective regulations will be considered a plus
• Good knowledge of process documentation standards (e.g. BPMN, EPC)
• Good knowledge of process improvement techniques (e.g. Lean, Six Sigma)
• Strong analytical skills and experience in conducting process assessments and gap analyses.
• Very good understanding of the capabilities of new technologies
• Change management experience in designing and implementing change initiatives to drive organizational transformation will be considered a plus
