Purpose
As a Senior Business Analyst will be joining of Project Governance & Delivery Division of Alpha Bank S.A., and you will have the opportunity to participate in innovative projects of high complexity, play an impactful role across all phases of the project lifecycle and deliver high value solutions.
What you will be doing
• Lead end-to-end high complexity projects/programs with a major focus on regulatory / reporting needs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to clearly define the project scope, gather and analyze needs and translate them into business requirements.
• Act as the liaison between business and technical teams throughout the project lifecycle ensuring the proposed solutions meet the business needs.
• Select appropriate methods for collecting and analyzing data to provide data-driven insights.
• Support testing phases (User Acceptance Testing) and stakeholder training sessions.
• Develop informed recommendations to alleviate business concerns.
• Monitor regulatory expectations and proactively assess their impact on business processes and systems.
• Prepare and effectively communicate appropriate reports and updates to the Management.
What you need to have
• A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Risk Management, Business Administration, Economics, Computer Science, or any other related discipline.
• Three (3) to five (5) years of proven experience in financial services sectors.
• At least three (3) years of experience in business and data analysis preferably in regulatory / risk related projects.
• Ability to prioritize business requirements and identify prerequisites, dependencies, and restrictions.
• Critical thinking with the ability to actively listen, analyses, assess, synthesize, and evaluate information with problem-solving skills and a goal-oriented approach.
• Good knowledge of Process Modelling methodologies and tools will be considered a plus.
