Purpose

Responsible for performing day-to-day operations in the area of Private Banking Operations contributing to accuracy, compliance, and excellent service delivery.

What you will be doing

  • Accurately posts, settles, monitors and services all private banking-related transactions under their responsibility.
  • Documents private banking operations processes under their responsibility.
  • Keeps abreast of updates on the products/services, systems, procedures and regulatory framework in private banking.
  • Contributes to the operational aspects of relationships with private banking customers, addressing issues, and facilitating support and guidance efforts.
  • Achieves optimal commissions collection for products/services under their responsibility.
  • Provides valuable input in optimizing standardized operational processes and participates in local re-engineering projects.
  • Simplifies operations by introducing automation to reduce workload and costs and improve the experience of customers.
  • Completes complex processing, operational, servicing and/or accounting duties in their assigned area. 
  • Resolves issues as required and escalates unusual problems to higher levels. 
  • Complies with internal policies and external regulations.
  • Manages operational risk by utilizing knowledge of relevant operational manuals, AML processes, sanctions, internal policies, and regulatory requirements , identifying potential issues and escalating them as necessary.
  • Shares bests practices with collogues across the organization.
  • Contributes to the creation of supportive work environment driven by the Bank’s values.

What you need to have

  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, or related field
  • 5+ years experience in treasury or investment banking and/or operations
  • Experience in banking operations, including capital management and post-trade monitoring.
  • Knowledge of trade and treasury transactions, with the ability to apply financial analysis to support operations.
  • Proven ability to prioritize and deliver results with strong time management skills.
  • Adept at applying complex problem-solving to resolve operational challenges.
