Purpose
As a Service Engineer you will be placed in the IT Service Management Domain and you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and continuously improving IT service management processes within the bank’s IT.
What you will be doing
• Develop workflows, end-to-end procedures, and documentation to support IT activities and ensure alignment with the IT Operating Model, internal policies and industry’s standards and best practices.
• Analyze existing processes to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for automation and improvement leveraging the use IT Governance tools to improve process efficiency.
• Define and monitor metrics and KPIs to assess process performance and propose enhancements.
• Collaborate with stakeholders (IT teams, business units, and service providers) to define process requirements and ensure alignment with IT and business areas.
• Facilitate workshops, perform presentations and training sessions to ensure smooth adoption of new or updated processes.
• Maintain up-to-date documentation of process models, workflows, manuals and training materials.
• May act as a Coordinator/ Project Manager to projects for process enhancement under the responsibility of the ITSM Domain monitoring progress, involving stakeholders and keeping up with deadlines.
What you need to have
• A Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science,Business Administration or a related field. Master’s degree in above areas including Finance or Management, will be considered a plus.
• Deep knowledge and experience with ITIL processes and other frameworks like COBIT or ISO standards.
• Experience in process modelling tools and metrics analysis.
• Proven working experience at least (5) five years in IT service management, process engineering, or a related role, preferably within the IT industry.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent organizational, presentation and project management skills.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work well both independently and in a team environment, including senior management.
• Professional qualifications such as ITIL Foundation, BPMN or Prince 2 will be considered a plus.
