Purpose

As an Asset Management Senior Specialist, you will be responsible for the asset management of Real Estate portfolios serviced by ARES. The role contributes to the development and execution of asset management strategies, ensuring portfolio performance, value optimization, and alignment with ownership objectives.

What you will be doing

• Develop asset management strategies for portfolios and assets under management
• Monitor real estate portfolio performance and ensure the achievement of targets based on portfolio and asset-level strategies
• Implement approved sales and letting strategies or refine them as necessary to meet ownership objectives
• Implement holding and commercialization strategies for portfolios under management
• Deploy and oversee policies, procedures, and working instructions for property and facilities management and commercialization teams
• Coordinate in-house asset management teams and external asset management providers
• Participate in the development of annual property operating and capital expenditure (opex/capex) budgets and rolling forecasts
• Prepare and submit client reports in line with portfolio characteristics and ownership objectives
• Prepare internal management reports and present data to internal Committees
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders

What you need to have

• A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or Business Administration
• A Master’s degree in Finance, Business, or Real Estate (preferred)
• A minimum of seven (7) years of professional experience in Asset Management of large real estate portfolios
• Strong understanding of real estate management, market trend analysis, and client relationship management
• Solid expertise in financial modeling, project management, and financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting
• Strong stakeholder management, presentation, communication, and negotiation skills
• Strong critical thinking and decision-making capabilities
