Alpha Asset Management, a subsidiary of Alpha Bank Group with 35 years of investment management experience, offering mutual funds and tailored solutions for institutional clients, wishes to hire a Funds Administration Specialist.

Purpose

As a Bond & Structured Portfolios Associate (acting as a Fixed Income Portfolio Manager), you will support the management of investment portfolios by contributing to investment research, portfolio monitoring, trade execution, and performance analysis. You will assist in portfolio optimization, investment decision-making processes, and risk assessment activities, ensuring compliance with investment guidelines, regulatory requirements, and internal policies.

What you will be doing

• Support the management of bond and structured portfolios by conducting investment research, security analysis, portfolio evaluation, performance monitoring, and attribution analysis, while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal investment limits
• Monitor economic trends, interest rate developments, fixed income markets, and investment opportunities, performing qualitative and quantitative analysis to support investment recommendations and portfolio decision-making
• Assist in portfolio rebalancing, trade execution, and transaction processing activities, ensuring accurate execution and completion of related administrative tasks
• Collaborate closely with Risk Management to support portfolio risk assessment, monitoring, and compliance with investment guidelines and Investment Committee decisions
• Prepare investment analyses, portfolio reports, and presentations covering portfolio performance, market developments, and investment recommendations for the Investment Committee, clients, and other internal and external stakeholders
• Build and maintain effective relationships with brokers, analysts, investee companies, clients, and other stakeholders, participating in meetings and presentations as required

What you need to have

• A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or another quantitative field
• A Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or another quantitative field (preferred)
• At least one (1) year of professional experience in Finance or a related analytical field. We welcome candidates from non-finance backgrounds who bring strong quantitative skills and an interest in fixed income markets.
• Knowledge of investment management principles and capital markets, with a focus on fixed income
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with the critical judgment to evaluate investment opportunities and challenge assumptions in a rigorous way
• Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
• Holding or actively pursuing the CFA qualification will be considered a strong advantage
• Holding the HCMC Certification of Professional Suitability (C): Investment Portfolio Management will be considered an asset
