Purpose
As a member of a dynamic Business Analysis team, the Business Analyst plays a critical role in aligning business objectives with successful project delivery. This alignment is accomplished by clearly defining requirements, which enables informed decision-making and ensures effective collaboration between Business and IT stakeholders. The Business Analyst becomes part of a team that is committed to driving consistency and clarity throughout projects, while delivering value to strategic initiatives.
What you will be doing
• Elicit, Document, and Validate Requirements: Apply a variety of elicitation techniques, adapted to the complexity of each project and the availability of stakeholders, to gather, document, and validate business requirements or user stories.
• Translate Business Needs: Convert business needs into comprehensive deliverables, including detailed requirements or user stories. This process may involve creating process flows, mockups, and user guides as needed to fully articulate the requirements.
• Internal Engagement: Actively engage with fellow Business Analysts to share best practices and identify opportunities for synergies across different IT projects and programs.
• Facilitate Stakeholder Communication: Maintain effective and transparent communication with stakeholders throughout the entire project life cycle, ensuring ongoing alignment and understanding.
• Support Execution Phase: Provide support during the execution phase of projects to ensure that solutions delivered meet the previously defined requirements.
What you need to have
• At least one year of proven experience in the banking or financial services sector, or within a large consulting firm.
• One to three years of professional experience as a business analyst in a project-driven environment.
• Α Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Science, or a related discipline.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with familiarity in using various decision-making tools to support business stakeholders.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Greek and English, enabling clear articulation of insights, effective negotiation of priorities, and alignment of expectations among diverse stakeholders.
• Demonstrates flexibility and adaptability in shifting priorities, maintaining a positive “can-do” attitude.
• Ability to manage multiple IT initiatives at the same time, ensuring alignment with team objectives and adherence to project timelines.
• Proficiency with common business analysis tools and documentation techniques, along with familiarity with agile ceremonies and tools, such as Azure DevOps, is considered an advantage.
