Purpose

 

As a Business Centre Assistant Manager, you are responsible for providing guidance to his/her team of  Relationship Managers, developing/deepening SME customer relationships and overseeing the proper rules and regulations implementation on them to ensure continuous development and compliance and maximize customers’ portfolio profitability

 

What you will be doing 

 

  • Supervise the activities of the Business Centres, under the guidance of the Business Centre Manager and the provided Operational Framework
  • Identifie, in collaboration with the Business Centres Manager, medium-sized companies that could be classified as potential clients and pursues their approach
  • Ensure the quality of the loan portfolio and that the Bank’s Lending Policy requirements are followed in the medium-sized business market of their responsibility
  • Ensure the effective collaboration between the Bank and the existing / potential medium sized business clients
  • Coordinate business development initiatives for his/her team members to achieve sales acquisition at scale (product promotion, cross selling and effective customer service)
  • Lead and drive the growth and development of the Business Centre’s officers through maintaining a strong and digital-savvy client centricity and sales culture
  • Participate as replacement for the Business Centres Manager in the Wholesale Banking Credit Committee III and IV
  • Act as member of the Wholesale Banking Credit Committee V-B
  • Be responsible for the execution of the Budget of the Business Centre as assigned by the Business Centre Manager
  • Cultivate a high-performance inspired team while fostering a culture of empowerment, accountability, and inclusion

 

 

What you need to have 

 

  • A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration or related fields
  • A master’s degree in Business Administration, Management or related fields would be considered an asset
  • A minimum of eight (8) years of working experience in Banking in areas such as Sales, Business Development or Credit
