Purpose
As a Technology Senior Buyer you will be joining the Sourcing Domain of Alpha Bank Central Procurement Management and Outsourcing Division. You will be responsible for managing the Bank’s procurement activities (RFPs, contracts, suppliers’ management etc.) related to Business units’ needs (including facility management, Insurance, Paper and Printing, Postage Services, Courier services).
What you will be doing
- Undertakes high complexity and multi category RFx projects -negotiates contracts with vendors to obtain competitive prices while ensuring that the products meet quality standards.
- Discovers profitable suppliers and initiates procurement partnerships.
- Negotiates with external vendors to secure advantageous terms.
- Reviews existing contracts with suppliers and vendors to ensure ongoing feasibility.
- Recommends the ordering of necessary goods and services and assists with general purchasing requirements.
- Reviews utility consumption and strives to minimize costs.
- Allocates office space according to the Bank’s needs.
- Handles insurance plans and service contracts.
- Tracks and reports key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness.
- Act as liaison between suppliers, business units, and external parties where required.
- Ensures that quality and value-for-money standards are maintained.
What you need to have
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Technology, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
- Master’s degree in a relevant discipline will be considered a strong advantage
- 7+ years of professional experience in procurement or other relevant roles
- Solid expertise in Procurement Management, Contract & Vendor Management, and Demand & Supply Analysis
- Strong transdisciplinary thinking and ability to operate across diverse business areas
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and collaboration skills
