Purpose
As a Facility Management Associate, you will be responsible for supporting preventive and corrective maintenance activities across the assets under the Company’s management. The role contributes to the coordination of service requests, contractor management, and the efficient execution of maintenance works, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with service level agreements.
What you will be doing
- Coordinate work streams related to the collection and documentation of incoming service requests, assign tasks to appropriate contractors, and follow up to ensure timely completion
- Manage day-to-day settlement of service charges and support reporting to relevant departments and stakeholders
- Receive and record service requests in the Company’s IT applications, ensuring accurate documentation
- Define the scope of works, collect offers, and assign tasks in line with corrective maintenance service level agreements (SLAs)
- Supervise contractors’ performance in accordance with preventive maintenance SLAs
- Oversee the execution of maintenance works and report on outcomes
- Participate in the development of the annual property-level budget for service charges
- Review and arrange the payment of service charges
- Liaise with municipal organizations for the settlement of local taxes and ensure receipt of relevant certificates
What you need to have
- A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field
- Up to three (3) years of working experience in relevant roles
- Solid understanding of facility management and vendor management practices, including coordination of contractors and service providers
- Strong data collection and analysis capabilities, supporting cost optimization and inventory management
- Understanding of incident management processes and technical documentation practices
- Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder coordination skills in operational environments
- Proactive mindset with attention to detail and critical thinking when managing service requests and maintenance activities
