Alpha Asset Management, a subsidiary of Alpha Bank Group with 35 years of investment management experience, offering mutual funds and tailored solutions for institutional clients, wishes to hire a Funds Administration Specialist.
Purpose
As a Funds Administration Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of financial transactions, valuations, and reconciliations. In this role, you will contribute to maintaining data integrity, optimizing financial processes, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations. Working closely with internal teams and external stakeholders, you will support fund accounting activities, enhance operational efficiency, and contribute to reliable financial reporting across fund administration processes.
What you will be doing
- Calculate and process commissions, fees, and taxes for UCITS, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely execution of payments
- Perform and verify monthly reconciliations of UCITS portfolios, aligning portfolio balances with accounting records to maintain data integrity
- Manage and oversee the daily reconciliation of UCITS returns, total assets, and transactions, collaborating closely with the Middle Office to ensure financial accuracy
- Prepare and deliver detailed net asset statements for funds, ensuring accuracy and reliability in financial reporting
- Contribute to the optimization and enhancement of corporate core systems by supporting the integration of industry best practices that improve operational efficiency
- Implement and ensure compliance with financial tools and regulatory guidelines, maintaining adherence to applicable regulatory requirements and proper documentation
- Facilitate and support data reconciliation between the Funds Registry and the General Ledger, ensuring consistency and accuracy in financial records
What you need to have
- A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics; a Master’s degree in Finance, Business, or a related field will be considered an asset
- A minimum of four (4) years of relevant professional experience in Accounting
- Strong communication skills and a results-oriented mindset when collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders
- Strong decision-making capabilities and effective stakeholder management skills in a financial operations environment
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy across financial transactions, reconciliations, and reporting processes
