Purpose

 

As a Internal Auditor, you will be responsible for conducting high-quality risk-based audit assurance, to enhance and protect organizational value. 

What you will be doing

 

  • Conduct risk-based audits for assigned areas to assess internal control systems
  • Propose internal controls within the scope of the audit
  • Maintain high-quality audit programs and workpapers, ensuring thorough documentation of audit tests and findings
  • Prepare audit reports that provide an independent evaluation of related risks and controls. Include recommendations for remediation of identified issues and weaknesses
  • Participate in the periodic issue follow-up process and supports the successful implementation of remediation actions within agreed-upon timeframes
  • Conduct specialized audits and fraud investigations as directed by Team Leader or Manager
  • Adhere to internal audit policies, procedures, and methodologies consistently
  • Stay updated on new audit developments and apply international audit practices and standards (e.g., IIA) in audit activities

 

What you need to have

 

  • A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Information Technology and Security, Business Administration or related fields
  • A minimum of three (3) years of experience in internal audit and/or in Banking or Financial Industry Institutions
