Purpose
As an International Syndications Senior Relationship Manager you are responsible for sourcing international syndicated loan transactions, developing and maintaining strong relationships with commercial banks and institutional lenders, providing sector and market intelligence
What you will be doing
- Contribute to the sourcing of international syndicated transactions in accordance with the International Syndication Policy
- Maintain and develop working relationships with international commercial banks and development finance institutions (DFIs), under guidance where needed
- Contribute to ensuring alignment with current market appetite and the Bank’s strategic objectives
- Develop solid understanding of key financing sectors through market analysis and deal exposure
- Monitor loan market trends to identify appetite, pricing trends, syndication capacity and shares relevant insights with internal stakeholders
- Prepare regular sector/market updates to inform CIB Business Areas on origination and syndication strategy/trends
- Prepare reports on the Bank’s international syndication activities to support management reporting needs
- Collaborate with relevant business units to support the formulation of syndication strategies for new lending opportunities
- Monitor the secondary loan markets, conducts deal-specific market soundings to advise the respective Business Area
What you need to have
- A minimum of seven (7) years in relevant position.
- A Bachelor's degree in Economics, Banking and Finance, Business, Math or other relevant field.
- A Master's degree in Banking and Finance is considered a strong asset.
- Full professional competency in English language (oral and written).
- Stakeholder management skills.
