Alpha Asset Management, a subsidiary of Alpha Bank Group with 35 years of investment management experience, offering mutual funds and tailored solutions for institutional clients, wishes to hire an Investment Operations Specialist.

Purpose

As an Investment Operations Specialist, you will contribute to the smooth execution, confirmation, and settlement of financial transactions, while supporting the accurate validation of portfolio pricing and performance. The role ensures operational accuracy, regulatory compliance, and timely reporting in support of portfolio management and investment monitoring activities.

What you will be doing

• Confirm executed transactions with counterparties, including cash movements, ensuring accuracy in accordance with relevant orders and contracts
• Review and reconcile transaction confirmations received from counterparties with transaction details entered in the Front Office system, resolving any pending discrepancies
• Validate pricing of financial instruments received from Bloomberg and ensure accurate Net Asset Value (NAV) valuation for UCITS and clients’ portfolios 
• Calculate daily performance for UCITS and clients’ portfolios, communicate results to Fund Managers and administrators, and reconcile performance data with the Fund Administration Department
• Ensure accurate data input into the Back Office core system to support Fund Managers and Risk Management in monitoring regulatory investment limits 
• Prepare reports for clients in accordance with portfolio management agreements and legal requirements, ensuring timely and accurate delivery

What you need to have

• A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or Business Administration
• A Master’s degree in Finance, Business, or a related field (preferred)
• A minimum of four (4) years of professional experience in Accounting or Operations Management
• Solid understanding of operational effectiveness and control, regulatory compliance requirements, and transaction monitoring processes within financial operations
• Strong planning and organizational capabilities supporting continuous process improvement and operational efficiency
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and decision-making capabilities in a collaborative operational environment
• Results-oriented mindset with attention to accuracy when handling financial transaction data and reporting
