Purpose
As a NPE Recovery Specialist you will be placed in the NPEs Strategy, Recovery and Monitoring Business Area of the Bank and will be responsible for monitoring the performance, conducting controls and supporting projects for the management of Retail Non-Performing exposures in Greece and abroad.
What you will be doing
- Identify trends, underlying causes of non-performance, and evaluate associated risks and opportunities.
- Ensure the implementation of NPE Plan and propose remedial actions, where necessary.
- Collaboration with other departments to resolve complex issues (i.e operational risk events , IT issues etc).
- Run projects (i.e. new product and functionality development , change requests etc )
- Monitor the portfolio’s performance and identify trends, strengths, or weaknesses in the operating model, proposing appropriate corrective measures.
- Perform quality controls to the Servicer and identify inefficiencies.
What you need to have
- A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or in any other related field.
- A Master’s degree in analytics, financial management, economics, operational research or an MBA will be considered a plus.
- A minimum of three (5) years of work experience in a financial institution or in credit management services companies or in Accounting Firms.
- Excellent use of MS Office applications (Excel, Word, Access, Powerpoint, Think Cell)
- Project management skills will be considered an asset.
- Excellent command of the English language (both written and spoken).
- Excellent communication skills.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills, along with high attention to detail.
