Purpose

As an External Reporting Specialist you will be responsible for the production of accurate and insightful regulatory or statistical reports, through efficient data processing techniques with the use of advanced analytical tools and the performance of complex data calculations and algorithmic processes.
 

 

 

What you will be doing 

 

  • Prepare and submit regulatory reports and disclosures (e.g., ESG Pillar III, FINREP, Bank of Greece Executive Committee Acts) in full compliance with applicable guidelines, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery
  • Support recurring supervisory exercises such as Stress Tests and ICAAP/ILAAP by analyzing actual data related to interest rates, spreads, and Net Interest Income (NII) components
  • Translate regulatory outcomes into actionable insights and communicate key findings to Senior Management through targeted presentations and dashboard visualizations
  • Maintain and continuously update the master plan of reporting activities to ensure full alignment with business expectations and regulatory deadlines
  • Participate in standardization and process improvement initiatives, including automation and simplification of reporting workflows
  • Support the development and enhancement of reporting procedures and controls to secure data integrity, accuracy, and consistency across all regulatory submissions

 

 

What you need to have

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Banking, Finance, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Mathematics or other quantitative field of study
  • Master’s degree in Banking, Finance, Data Analytics or other quantitative field of study
  • At least three (3) years of relevant professional experience, ideally in a banking institution or an audit/consulting/FinTech firm
  • Capability of extracting value and forward-looking insights from data, using a combination of technical skills (e.g. SQL, python), quantitative know-how and business acumen
  • Good knowledge of visual analytics suites (e.g. Power BI)
  • Proficient use of the MS Office suite (especially Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality results
  • Excellent command of the English language (both written and spoken)
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and present data effectively
  • Familiarity with Accounting, Finance and Risk Management concepts and terminology will be highly appreciated
