Purpose

As a Real Estate Investments Senior Specialist, you will be responsible for identifying, evaluating, and executing real estate investment opportunities, contributing to investment appraisals, financial analysis, market intelligence, and portfolio performance monitoring to support investment decision-making.

What you will be doing

• Analyze financial data, perform financial modelling, valuation, and investment appraisals, while screening and evaluating new real estate investment opportunities
• Gather, analyze, and benchmark market and competitor intelligence, maintain the transaction database, and prepare market research, investment analyses, and internal reports to support investment decisions
• Conduct investment performance monitoring and appraisal activities, preparing presentations, investment proposals, and materials for the Investment Committee and the Board of Directors
• Participate in due diligence processes by reviewing deliverables and collaborating with advisors, brokers, attorneys, and other counterparties throughout investment transactions
• Support the execution of real estate investments by contributing to transaction management and maintaining effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
• Contribute to the development of investment recommendations and participate in meetings with internal teams, advisors, and business partners to support investment strategy and portfolio growth

What you need to have

• A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, STEM, Business Administration, or another relevant field
• A Master's degree (MSc or MBA) in Real Estate Investment, Financial Analysis, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred)
• At least seven (7) years of professional experience in real estate investments, investment appraisal, valuation, financial analysis, or a related investment role
• Strong knowledge of investment management, valuation, financial analysis, market research, regulatory compliance, and business environment analysis
• Strong analytical thinking, communication, presentation, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills
• Professional certifications related to real estate investment appraisal or valuation methodologies and/or the CFA qualification will be considered an asset
