SB Development Specialist

Purpose

As a Small Business Development Specialist, you will join the Small Business Banking Business Area and be responsible for executing the Small Business segment strategy, focusing on expanding the Small Business portfolio, enhancing product and service offerings, and driving sustainable business growth through innovation, market insights, and customer-centric initiatives.
 

What you need to have

• Assist in the implementation of customer-centric strategies to drive the growth of the SB segment in alignment with the Bank’s objectives.
• Participate in action plans for improving customer experience.
• Stay updated on market developments and trend to upgrade existing service and product offerings.
• Assist in the analysis of Small Business portfolio data to identify areas for expansion and market penetration.
• Prepare regular reports on the performance and progress of growth strategies.
• Assist in the design of the annual budget for the Small Business (SB) portfolio and in the goal-setting process for the Branch Network, while monitoring performance, and evaluating achievements.
• Participate in the development of a robust full-scale campaigning strategy, that adapts to the business strategy and product features.
• Monitor the Alpha Gold Business Banking Service business strategy.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with growth strategies.

What you will be doing

• A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Engineering or a related field.
• A Master’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Engineering or a related field will be considered an advantage.
• At least five (5) years of experience in Small Business / SME financing, ideally within a banking environment.
• Strong understanding of business planning, market research and analysis, and commercial strategy, with the ability to translate insights into actionable business initiatives.
• Experience in budget management and business development, with an understanding of portfolio performance and growth opportunities.
• Knowledge of product marketing and branding, with the ability to support the development of customer-focused propositions and campaigns.
• Strong communication, negotiation and customer orientation skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with different stakeholders.
• A result-oriented and analytical mindset, combined with critical thinking and problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage priorities effectively.
