Purpose

 

As an SBL Credit Specialist in the Retail Credit Business Area you will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and assessing financial data and business/investment plans of Small Business Customers, to submit well-structured and documented proposals to the competent Credit Committee.

 

What you will be doing

 

  • Receive and analyze Small Business Lending applications in adherence to the Bank’s Retail Credit Policy, and according to the level of their approval authority.
  • Perform analysis of financial data of Small Business companies as well as their respective markets, assess Securities-Based companies’ financial statements, investment plans, their creditworthiness, and collaterals legal and technical inspection.
  • Cooperate with Branch Network to conclude on a lending proposition that best meets both customers’ needs and the Bank’s risk appetite.
  • Ensure proper and timely assessment of lending applications to achieve agreed personal targets regarding productivity and operational effectiveness.
  • Participate in projects that involve the Retail Credit business area.
  • Demonstrate commitment to achievement of the Retail Credit Business Area’s goals.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines.

 

What you need to have

 

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or any other related field.
  • At least five (5) years of relevant working experience in Banking, Finance or Consulting, with a focus on financial analysis.
  • Proficiency in the use of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent command of the English and Greek language (both written and spoken).
  • Attention to detail.
  • Solid time-management skills.
  • Methodical with analytical and critical thinking.
  • Able to observe confidentiality standards.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills.
