Purpose

 

As an SBLs Credit Specialist, you are responsible for performing the credit assessment of Small Business lending applications in adherence to the Retail Credit Policy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
 

What you will be doing

 

  • Receive and assess Small Business Lending applications (new and renewals) in adherence to the Retail Credit Policy according the level of their approval authority. 
  • Perform analysis of financial data of Small Business companies as well as their respective markets, assesses Small Business companies’ financial statements, investment plans, their creditworthiness and collaterals legal and technical inspection. 
  • Cooperate with the Branch Network and respective Business areas for collecting required information and conclude to a solution that best fits both customer needs and Bank’s risk appetite. 
  • Participate in competent Retail Credit Committees as a member or submits proposals for credit assessment at a higher committee .
  • Ensure the proper and timely assessment of lending applications to achieve agreed personal targets regarding productivity and operational effectiveness. 

 

What you need to have

 

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Statistics, Mathematics or related fields
  • At least five (5) years of experience in Business, Finance and Banking
