Purpose

 

As a Wholesale Insurance Specialist based in Thessaloniki, you will be responsible for implementing group sales strategies, overseeing the end-to-end sales process, and ensuring both revenue growth and high levels of customer satisfaction. The role contributes to the expansion of market share through effective customer relationship management, data-driven sales monitoring, and strict adherence to internal policies and regulatory requirements.

What you will be doing

 

  • Implement group sales strategies to drive revenue growth and expand market share
  • Monitor the full group sales cycle, from lead generation and qualification to contract signing and post-event follow-up
  • Develop a strong understanding of the Bank’s offerings and effectively communicate the value proposition to customers
  • Prepare persuasive sales presentations and proposals addressing specific client challenges
  • Identify and actively pursue potential clients by leveraging group deal offerings
  • Collaborate with Wholesale Banking business areas, including event planning, operations, and marketing, to ensure seamless execution of group deals
  • Analyze sales data, monitor performance metrics, and prepare reports to evaluate the effectiveness of sales strategies and support data-driven decision making
  • Ensure compliance with the Bank’s internal policies and procedures, as well as with the guidelines of the European Banking Authority (EBA)

 

What you need to have

 

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
  • A minimum of three (3) years of experience in wholesale insurance or in a sales-related functional role
  • Knowledge and application of sales planning, sales account management, customer relationship management, business development, partnership development, regulatory compliance, and sales target management
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication, customer orientation, and critical thinking skills
  • Very good command of the English language (written and spoken)
  • Insurance Agent Professional Knowledge Certificate
