Business Continuity Senior Specialist

Purpose

We are seeking an experienced Business Continuity Senior Specialist  to lead and further develop the Bank’s Business Continuity Management framework and strengthen its operational resilience capabilities. The role shall assume responsibilities for ensuring that the Bank can continue or recover critical business activities within defined recovery objectives following severe operational, technology, cyber, third-party or physical disruptions. The Business Continuity Senior specialist will work closely with Business Units, IT, Cybersecurity, and  Risk Management, to ensure that effective and testable continuity and recovery arrangements are in place, therefore ensuring the Bank’s on going compliance with the Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA) and other applicable regulatory and supervisory expectations.

What you will be doing
 
Crisis Management
• Coordination of the development, evaluation, signoff and distribution of crisis management plans and policies
• Coordination of educational initiatives about crisis management handling 
• In case of a crisis event
   - Invocation and coordination of the crisis management team
   - Provide support to the CDTO  during the handling of the crisis event
   - Coordination of all involved parties
   - Coordination of the estimation of the financial and non-financial impact of the event
   - Composition of post incident review reports 

Business Continuity Management
• Coordination of the development, evaluation, signoff and distribution of business continuity plans as well as for their completeness
• Coordination of educational initiatives about business continuity management 
• Activation of the business continuity plan and
   - Coordination of the recovery actions and assessment of their effectiveness
   - Estimation of the financial and non-financial impact of the event
   - Composition of post incident review reports and update of business continuity plans

What you need to have   

• A Bachelor's Degree in IT , Cybersecurity, ICT Risk Management, engineering or similar discipline  
• Certification in ISO 22301, CBCP, CBRM, CRISK, or related ones 
• Relevant professional experience in Business Continuity Management (framework, methodology, policies and standards.), Operational Resilience and DORA, Crisis Management, ICT Resilience, disaster recovery planning and testing, ICT response and recovery Plans development and   testing, Technology Risk preferably in the Financial Sector or complex highly regulated Organizations 
• Experience designing and facilitating business continuity or operational resilience exercises. Strong understanding of operational and third-party dependencies.
• Leadership & Stakeholder Management
• Strong analytical and risk-assessment capabilities.
• Ability to understand complex end-to-end business and technology dependencies. Ability to distinguish between technical system restoration and actual business-service recovery.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong facilitation, presentation and crisis-coordination capabilities.
• Ability to distinguish between technical system restoration and actual business-service recovery.
• Excellent command of English
