Purpose

 

As an IT Cost Management Manager you will be responsible for recommending ways to successfully allocate costs as well as monitor the implementation of costing chargeback policies across the Bank.

What you will be doing

 

•     Establish the budget for IT Expenses and Investments, in collaboration with the IT and Finance Business Areas. 
•     Monitor the implementation of the budget and provide forecasts and financial reports.
•     Handle the technical and financial approval process for IT expenses and investments in collaboration with competent Business Areas and the relevant approval bodies.
•     Oversee the definition and implementation of IT cost optimization measures, in collaboration with competent Business Areas (e.g., IT, Procurement, HR).
•     Develop and implement the IT financial management policies and procedures for accurate tracking of expenses and chargeback to business units. 
•     Establish, maintain and manage costing chargeback systems and processes to ensure accurate and fair allocation of IT costs to business units.
•     Implement and manage Technology Business Management (TBM) framework across technology domains.
•     Evaluate and improve the IT financial management processes and tools to increase efficiency and accuracy.
•     Communicate with business unit leaders to provide guidance on IT cost management and chargeback processes.
•     Ensure compliance with internal and external audit requirements.
•     Cultivate a high-performance inspired team while fostering a culture of empowerment, accountability, and inclusion.

 

 

What you need to have

 

•     A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Finance, Business or IT-related field.
•     A Master’s degree n a related field (preferred).
•     At least five (5) years of work experience in a managerial position IT financial management, costing, or chargeback roles in the banking sector
•     Excellent communication skills.
•     Critical thinking ​and attention to detail.
•     Strong understanding of IT financial management (OPEX/CAPEX,chargeback models)
•     Proven experience with Technology Business Management (TBM)frameworks
•     Proficient use of the MS Office suite visualization proficiency(Power BI,Tableau or similar) .
•     Excellent command of the English language (both written and spoken).
