Purpose

As an IT Enterprise Architect, you will join the IT Governance unit and you will be responsible for designing and implementing technological solutions that meet the current and future needs of the Bank. You will ensure that all solutions align with the Enterprise Architecture plan and the overarching Business Strategy.

What you will be doing

  • Design the architectural blueprint of complex, enterprise-wide IT solutions and applications.
  • Collaborate with Domain Leaders to define and maintain ICT architecture principles, patterns and guidelines for Business, Applications, Software, Systems, and Data.
  • Set communication and interface standards between different IT domains and subsystems.
  • Design and oversee advanced solutions across different IT domains and applications, managing architectural dependencies and proposing solutions as per the different timelines.
  • Design and oversee advanced solutions, ensuring technical and architectural integrity through formal Technical Supervision in complex IT projects.
  • Monitor the application lifecycle and suggest consolidations, upgrades, or replacements to modernize the infrastructure.
  • Provide advice on automation and the reusability of existing technological solutions and technologies.
  • Manage architectural dependencies for strategic and BAU programs, proposing solutions across different timelines.
  • Ensure the collection of architectural standards and the comprehensive documentation of all IT solutions.
  • Participate in the technical evaluation of third-party solutions and collaborate on the management and evaluation of the approved vendor list.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends (Technology Research Management), testing new technologies and providing consultancy on integrating innovative solutions.
  • Develop strong relationships with internal and external partners, collaborating with Domain Leaders to resolve strategic issues.

What you need to have

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, or related fields. A Master’s degree in IT is preferred
  • 7+ years of proven experience in Solution Designing and Architecture.
  • Deep knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Database Management, Microservices, and Cloud Computing.
  • Familiarity with Agile and Hybrid methodologies, especially in Digital Transformation and Emerging Technologies (AI, Cloud, etc.).
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking to drive sound decision-making, ability to solve complex problems, adapt to change, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Clear communication skills, effective stakeholder management, and the ability to solve complex problems in dynamic and evolving environments.
  • Ability to foster a culture of empowerment, accountability, and inclusion within the team.
