Purpose

As an IT Portfolio & Project Management Domain Manager, you will join the IT Governance business unit and be responsible for managing the Bank’s portfolio of IT projects, ensuring alignment with the Bank’s strategic aims and objectives, while overseeing project costs, resource allocation, and overall portfolio performance.

What you will be doing

  • Manage IT project budgets, timelines, and risks to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Develop and implement project management plans and procedures, including project charters, scope, and schedules for IT projects across the Bank.
  • Monitor the planning and onboarding of IT projects and programs.
  • Maximize resource allocation based on resource availability and project prioritization.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring that project deliverables meet business priorities.
  • Ensure key stakeholders are identified and engaged early in the project lifecycle.
  • Lead the strategic administration and organization of projects within the business.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external partners and sponsors.
  • Draft new and improve existing Project Management Office (PMO) policies and processes.
  • Cultivate a high-performing team while fostering a culture of empowerment, accountability, and inclusion.

What you need to have

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Master’s degree in a related field is preferred.
  • 7+ years of experience in IT portfolio management and/or business technology management.
  • Strong expertise in project and business management, with the ability to manage strategic partnerships and coordinate multiple initiatives effectively.
  • Solid understanding of business analytics and Management Information Systems (MIS), supporting informed decision-making and performance monitoring.
  • Experience in IT risk management, ensuring that risks are proactively identified and properly mitigated across the portfolio.
  • Strong leadership and team management capabilities, combined with analytical and strategic thinking to drive sound decision-making and portfolio performance.
  • Clear communication skills, effective stakeholder management, and the ability to solve complex problems in dynamic and evolving environments.
