Purpose

 

As an Advisory Software Engineer  will be joining the Risk Management Domain team of Alpha Bank IT Digital Services & Data Analytics Division. They will take end to end ownership of their assigned demands, operating with day to day autonomy in planning, problem solving, and stakeholder coordination, while receiving guidance from senior architects and domain leads. They will work closely with Business, Project Management, and engineering teams to ensure that demands are properly assessed, estimated, designed, and delivered in line with Domain and enterprise standards.

What you will be doing

 

•    Act as the single point of contact for every new demand where the Domain is involved.
•    Identifie and proposes the engagement of other Domains (Secondary Domains) when needed, especially when the Domain is assigned as Primary.
•    Consolidate and validates High Level Estimates (HLE) for new demands based on business requirements and Secondary Domain inputs.
•    Gather HLEs from all Secondary Domains and creates the consolidated HLE document for new demand intake.
•    Monitor the Domain’s internal tasks (e.g., Azure DevOps items) and provides continuous communication on demand progress.
•    Review demand BRDs, aligns with Business and Technical Leads, and ensures requirements are well understood before design and development.
•    Create or validates High Level Technical Solution Designs (HLTSD), including system integration patterns, data flows, API interactions, security considerations, and alignment with enterprise architecture standards.
•    Collaborate with the Project Manager to support project milestone planning, approvals, and new demand intake.
•    Monitor the Domain’s internal delivery activities (e.g., Azure DevOps work items), including dependencies, technical risks, and delivery constraints, and provides continuous communication on demand progress.
•    Work with Incident and Problem Managers to analyze and resolve incidents requiring Domain involvement, including root cause analysis, impact assessment, and coordination of technical remediation actions.
•    Ensure correctness and completeness of Medium sized Demand Registers.
•    Monitor financial and delivery attributes for Medium sized demands (budgets, milestones, risks, dependencies).

 

What you need to have

 

•    BSc in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or any other related discipline.
•    At least six (6) years of experience in IT Delivery, Business Analysis, or Technical Leadership roles.
•    Strong understanding of demand management, project lifecycle, and SDLC methodologies.
•    Proven ability to produce or evaluate High Level Technical Designs (HLTSD).
•    Experience working with tools such as Azure DevOps or similar platforms.
•    Strong organizational, coordination, and prioritization skills.
•    Experience in multi domain environments (cross domain delivery, integrations).
•    Experience with enterprise architectures or solution architecture frameworks.
•    Knowledge of ITIL practices (especially Incident, Problem, and Change Management).
•    Exposure to financial evaluation of demand (costing, budgeting, time & materials).
•    Background in cloud technologies (Azure, AWS, GCP) is an advantage.
•    Technical hands on experience (development, analysis, or systems integration).
