Purpose

As a Specialist within Technology Strategic Planning & Value, the role supports the execution, monitoring, and reporting of technology strategic planning activities. The position contributes to the maintenance of planning artefacts, portfolio reporting, and governance processes, ensuring the availability of accurate information to support decision-making across the CDTO organization.

 

What you will be doing


•    Support the preparation and maintenance of technology planning and governance documentation
•    Assist in the coordination of annual technology planning activities and portfolio reviews
•    Maintain project and portfolio data, ensuring information accuracy and consistency
•    Support the monitoring of technology initiatives, including timelines, milestones, and key dependencies
•    Prepare regular reports, dashboards, and presentations for management and stakeholders
•    Collect and consolidate information from technology teams to support planning and reporting cycles
•    Support governance meetings by preparing materials, tracking actions, and maintaining records
•    Contribute to process improvement initiatives related to planning, governance, and reporting
•    Escalate data quality issues, reporting inconsistencies, and implementation challenges as appropriate


What you need to have


•    A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field
•    A Master's degree will be considered an asset
•    Minimum four (4) years of professional experience in PMO, project management, strategic planning, business analysis, or technology governance
•    Good understanding of technology organizations, project delivery, and governance practices
•    Familiarity with portfolio reporting, planning, and performance monitoring processes
•    Strong analytical and organizational skills
•    Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and reporting tools
•    Good communication and collaboration skills
•    Ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholders and manage competing priorities
