As  an Advisory Cloud Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, securing, and operating cloud infrastructure solutions across enterprise environments. Acting as a technical expert, this role focuses on delivering highly available, scalable, and automated cloud platforms while ensuring best practices in governance, reliability, and cost optimization. The Advisory  Cloud Engineer collaborates with cross-functional teams, leads complex engineering initiatives, and contributes to the cloud strategy and roadmap of the organization.

What you will be doing

•    Design, build, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructures (IaaS, PaaS, container platforms).
•    Develop secure and automated landing zones, network topologies, and resource configurations.
•    Drive cloud modernization initiatives, including migration of legacy systems to cloud-native architectures.
•    Build and maintain IaC frameworks using Terraform, Bicep, or ARM.
•    Ensure consistency, repeatability, and reliability across all infrastructure deployments.
•    Implement observability tooling (monitoring, logging, alerting).
•    Troubleshoot complex cloud infrastructure issues and lead root cause analysis.
•    Enforce cloud governance, identity models, and hardened configurations.
•    Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to maintain secure cloud environments.
•    Support regulatory compliance and audit readiness.
•    Partner with development teams to design cloud-native application pipelines.
•    Promote DevOps and SRE principles for reliability and automation maturity.
•    Improve platform scalability and service continuity using engineering best practices.

What you need to have

•    A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering (or another related field).

•    Strong hands-on experience with major cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP).

•    Experience at least six (6) years in systems or cloud engineering roles.

•    Strong hands-on experience with major cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
•    Expertise in virtualization, networking, storage, and cloud-native architectures.
•    Advanced proficiency with IaC tools (Terraform, Bicep, ARM).
•    Experience with container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes.
•    Proficiency with CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
•    Strong scripting and automation experience (PowerShell, Python, Bash).
•    Knowledge of identity and security concepts (IAM, RBAC, policies, encryption).
•    Experience implementing monitoring and observability solutions.
•    Team-oriented collaboration across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
•    Ability to work autonomously and drive engineering initiatives.
•    Extensive hands-on experience managing enterprise cloud environments.
•    Proven track record in automation, IaC, and operational excellence.
•    Azure Administrator (AZ‑104) or AWS SysOps / Solutions Architect Associate.
•    Azure Solutions Architect (AZ‑305) or equivalent senior-level cloud certification.
•    Kubernetes (CKA/CKAD).
•    Terraform Associate.
