Purpose

As a Project Manager, you will join the IT Governance Business Unit, where you will lead the planning and execution of medium-scale, cross-functional IT projects, ensuring their successful delivery on time, within budget and in line with the Bank’s standards, while working closely with technical teams to support the delivery of complex technology solutions.

What you will be doing

  • Plan and execute medium-scale IT projects involving the relevant areas across the Bank and ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget and according to the agreed standards, with a clear understanding of technical dependencies and implementation risks.
  • Coordinate IT resources during the procurement processes of projects.
  • Establish the project team (internal teams and external vendors), foster a collaborative working environment, guide project teams and business areas on project-related matters, and ensure the implementation of decisions made by the Steering Committee.
  • Define deliverables, milestones and dependencies, and prepare project dashboards and reports to communicate progress against critical objectives.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders, manage project expectations continuously, and ensure alignment across IT and business teams on project objectives, business needs, priorities and timelines.
  • Manage project and technical risks and issues proactively and support the implementation of contingency and risk mitigation plans throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Monitor project plans and overall project status, and escalate risks and issues to stakeholders and the Steering Committee when necessary.
  • Ability to understand technical discussions, identify key delivery considerations and translate technical topics into clear, business-oriented updates for Stakeholders
  • Develop strong relationships with internal and external partners, collaborating with Domain Leaders to resolve issues.
  • Prepare regular and up-to-date reports on IT project progress.

What you need to have

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science (preferred), Computer Engineering, or another related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience supporting the full project lifecycle of business software or system integration projects.
  • Professional certification such as PRINCE2 Foundation or Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) will be considered an asset.
  • Good understanding of project planning, reporting, project documentation, and quality assurance principles.
  • Analytical thinking, problem-solving and decision-making skills, combined with a proactive mindset, ability to solve complex problems, adapt to change, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Ability to foster a culture of empowerment, accountability, and inclusion within the team.
  • Familiarity with ITIL and the ability to prepare clear reports and dashboards to support project monitoring and decision-making.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a proactive mindset, accountability, and a strong focus on delivering results.
