As a Systems Operation Agent will be placed in the IT Infrastructure & Operations Division and will be responsible for monitoring the reliability of the Data Center Systems operation. The position requires a shift working arrangement (24/7 shift schedule).

What you will be doing

• Ability to work in a 24x7 shift-based environment, including weekends and holidays.
• Attention to detail when handling operational tasks and alerts.
• Ability to manage multiple activities in parallel.
• Understanding that systems support critical business services.
• Execute and monitor scheduled operation system flows of production/development systems.
• Monitor and control the operation of the mainframe hardware and software (start and stop system tasks, monitor the system consoles for unusual conditions and work with the system programming and production control staff to ensure the health and the normal operation of the systems).

What you need to have

• A Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or in a related discipline.
• At least two (2) year of relevant experience.
• Adequate skills in MS Office.
• Basic understanding of ITIL concepts.
• Familiarity with monitoring dashboards and system alerts.
• Basic knowledge of Windows operating system.
• Willingness to learn batch processing and job scheduling concepts.
• Awareness of IT service management principles.
• Adequate skills in MS Office.
