Purpose

 

As a Systems Operation Agent will be placed in the IT Infrastructure & Operations Division and will be responsible for monitoring the reliability of the Data Center Systems operation. The position requires a shift working arrangement (24x7 shift schedule).

What you will be doing


•    Ability to work in a 24x7 shift-based environment, including weekends and holidays. 
•    Ability to work with fixed shift schedules that require continuous physical presence at the company’s Command Center facilities. 
•    This position is fully on-site and does not support hybrid or remote working arrangements. 
•    A valid driving licence is considered an advantage due to the shift-based nature of the role and the occasional requirement for physical presence at the Disaster Recovery (DR) site / backup data center.. 
•    Attention to detail when handling operational tasks and alerts. 
•    Ability to manage multiple activities in parallel. 
•    Understanding that systems support critical business services. 

 

What you need to have
 
•    A Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or in a related discipline.
•    At least two (2) year of relevant experience. 
•    Adequate skills in MS Office.
•    Basic understanding of ITIL concepts.
•    Familiarity with monitoring dashboards and system alerts.
•    Basic knowledge of Windows operating system.
•    Willingness to learn batch processing and job scheduling concepts.
•    Awareness of IT service management principles.
•    Adequate skills in MS Office.
